Brandon Smith

Brandon Smith is a FRQSC postdoctoral fellow at the University of Wisconsin-Madison's Institute for Research in the Humanities, working with Steven Nadler. He is the author of several articles on Spinoza's conception of the good life, in particular Spinoza's engagement with the ancient Greek ethical tradition of eudaimonism, which focuses on happiness (eudaimonia) as the highest good. He is currently working on two manuscripts, The Search for Mind-Body Flourishing in Spinoza’s Eudaimonism (under contract) and Early Modern Eudaimonism.
