Janie is an amateur illustrator with a passion for art, ancient studies, mythology, and poetry. She holds an MA in English literature, for which she explored the erotic pursuit metaphor in classical mythology and its transformations in the poetry of women. She is particularly fascinated by the folktales and fairy tales of different cultures, and how these stories speak to human experience. She is a published poet and an avid academic.
